Memory: The Divine Tool of Polarity

Our memory reflects the inherent polarity of God’s creation we call Earth. It can be your ally or your adversary, depending on how you engage with it. Allow me to share some reflections.

The Categorizing Memory -Throughout our lives, we encounter a multitude of experiences, from the unforgettable to the trivial. The memory, acting as our internal librarian, sorts these experiences into categories—ranging from the "never forget" moments to the "to hell with it" pile. These lesser-valued memories are pushed to the periphery of our consciousness, residing at the lowest rung of a metaphorical cone, hidden from sight yet ever-present.

Surprisingly, these "bottom feeders" serve a crucial purpose: they protect us from being overwhelmed by distractions. The memory organizes and prioritizes itself based on its understanding of our needs. Whether we’re aware of it or not, the memory performs as a deeply intuitive biographer, preserving our past.

The Memory's Imperfections and Potential- While the memory is an extraordinary tool, it isn’t infallible. it can misjudges the significance of events or fail to adapt to our personal growth. Experiences that once seemed minor may now hold profound relevance, yet the mind hasn’t updated its “database" as often as it should. It waits until there is a significant change in our relevance factor. This misalignment can lead to moments of déjà vu—a fleeting connection to forgotten fragments of our past.

At times, some of these revisited memories demand our attention, pulling us toward lessons we might have overlooked. Embracing such moments with flexibility and openness allows us to align with our present truth. Acknowledging that it’s okay to have been wrong in the past and now frees us to grow without judgment.

Harnessing the Memory as Divine AI - Your memory holds all your history—every habit, thought, spoken word, and experience is forever etched in your memory. It is in essence, a divine form of artificial intelligence, ready to serve you. Fact is, it knows you better than you know you. Your memory is neutral. To unlock its potential, approach it with the correct intention. For example: "Mind, please recategorize all my memories, making them relevant to my life as it is today, not as it was yesterday." By doing this, forgotten memories can become tools of clarity rather than beasts of burdens. Gratitude enhances this process: "Thank you, dear mind, for serving my highest good. You are my trusted ally, guiding me with wisdom and grace." This intentional relationship transforms the mind into a partner for spiritual growth, helping eliminate unnecessary burdens and fostering alignment with your present reality.

The Memory’s Ultimate Game- Life is a game, and the mind is your most precious tool. Mastering it ensures victory, not just in earthly pursuits but in your journey toward Infinity. As Sikh Dharma teaches, "Mana jeettai jugha jeet"— control the mind, and you control the universe.”

Understanding the polarity of good and evil is a crucial aspect of the mastery of our mind. Rather than labeling people or experiences as wholly good or bad, the mind recognize that both are essential to existence. Good originates from the heavens; bad, from this earthly realm. Each serves a purpose in our growth.

Neutrality: The Gateway to Divinity - Training your mind to embrace neutrality—to see beyond judgments of good and bad—is the key to divine living. Neutrality fosters virtues like tolerance, patience, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion. It aligns you with God’s love, which flows equally through all things, whether visible or hidden.

God resides in each of us. He lives within ALL of us.  A crimson-colored cave located deep the heart is the home of the soul, God’s abode. His divine love emanates from the soul and protects us from the ego. If the ego’s will advances, there’s a commensurate decline in consciousness. If the elevation of God’s will is embraced more and more, consciousness advances. Trust is the currency of this relationship: the more trust in God is advanced, the more grateful you become. As you cultivate gratitude for the divine presence within, your memory learns to align more and more with trust in God’s will which is the ticket to Infinity.

The Spiritual Leap- Living in neutrality transforms existence into a care-free (not carefree) life—a life of devotion, relaxation, and divine love. Challenges become opportunities, and judgment dissolves into acceptance. Your karma, shaped by your memories, shifts as you realign your memory with present realities.

Ask yourself: "Am I at peace with the life I’ve created?”

If not, remember that the earthly source of karma is your memory. Change your memory’s categorization and karma will transforms accordingly. Rather than being enslaved by your past, let your memory serve as a bridge to happiness, fulfillment, and contentment.

Closing Reflections - Your memory is ready and waiting to be retrained in service of your highest self. Engage with it consciously, lovingly, and purposefully. See challenges as invitations and opportunity to grow, to love, and embrace neutrality as a divine reward. In doing so, you’ll unlock the spiritual experience of living “beyond the beyond,” where devotion and divine service guide every step of your journey.
