Making donations to the Gurdwara and Langar
What is Langar?
"The Langar or free kitchen was started by the first Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It is designed to uphold the principle of equality between all people of the world regardless of religion, caste, colour, creed, age, gender or social status. In addition to the ideals of equality, the tradition of Langar expresses the ethics of sharing, community, inclusiveness and oneness of all humankind.
"..the Light of God is in all hearts." (Siri Guru Granth Sahib, pg. 282)
How You Can Participate!
You can now donate directly to the Guru Amar Das Corporation account which supports our Gurdwara and Sunday Langars. Giving on a monthly basis assures us the ability to buy organic and bulk ingredients, upgrade our kitchen equipment and build a more sustainable langar program for the sangat.
