Hacienda de Guru Ram Das is the home of the Siri Singhasan e Khalsa Gurdwara, the beautiful, golden domed addition to our ashram that was built through the volunteer labor of the members of the community. Our Gurdwara follows the spiritual tradition of the home in the heart of all Sikhs, the Golden Temple of Amritsar in India.
Like the Golden Temple, the Siri Singhasan e Khalsa Gurdwara is a place where each and every soul, though walking on many different spiritual paths, is welcomed. People from all cultures, races, creeds and religions—or no religion—come to our Gurdwara to experience their own spiritual peace in the Guru’s Court. The Gurdwara is a place of solace and comfort, a bringer of glorious peace and spiritual power to all who meditate at this place.
Next to the temple complex is the Langar hall (dining hall) where all persons, irrespective of race, religion, or gender, are invited for community meals without any charge. We serve a free meal on every Thursday at 12:30 pm and langar on Sunday's following Gurdwara services (approx. 1:00 pm).

Consider the Climate when Visiting
Española and Northern New Mexico are semi-arid high desert; the altitude is 5,600 feet, give or take. Winters can be cold and snowy or mild and dry. Summers are hot (high 90s) but dry, and often cooled by afternoon thundershowers locally known as monsoons. Spring is windy and Fall is Indian Summer, typified! With 
our dry, high desert climate, it is important to remember to drink lots of water. This is true in any season and especially so in Summer. It is a good idea to always keep a bottle of water with you. Additionally, we recommend you wear sunscreen and have a visor or shade hat available during Summer months.
