Atma Charan Kaur is so excited to share the publication of her new book, "Kundalini Serpent Goddess: Rising from the Borderlands." She's so proud of this huge accomplishment, telling her transition from an academic to a yoga teacher, the wounds of our sisterhood in a patriarchal age that’s crumbling down, and her struggle with chronic back pain and fibromyalgia.

What does this title, "Chief of Protocol," mean? Who am I supposed to be? I wasn’t given a handbook when this title was bestowed upon me. In fact, I’ve gone through many incarnations of this title, Chief of Protocol.

Very often, the least thing you want to do is hear another’s point of view. In reality, it’s the best thing for you. There can be no understanding unless you can stand under your thinking because you’ve heard others and have understand yours to be the best of all, or, and most importantly, you’ve changed your view in pursuit of the best because of another’s view.

I remember a song by Marvin Gaye called, “What’s goin on.” Well, that’s what most people are wondering about everything these days. Everything from nations to individuals, and all corporate stops in between, everything seems topsy-turvy. It is, and there doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason for it.
